Tunnel Inspection is an add-on that integrates with tunnel analysis software used in railway and road Tunnel Scan systems, where cameras and dedicated lighting units capture high-resolution images of tunnel walls.

The system analyzes the acquired imagery to support automated identification of structural defects and infrastructure anomalies.

Automatic Defects Recognition

Using AI-based image analysis, the system automatically detects and classifies:

  • Water leakage and wet surfaces,
  • Cracks,
  • Aggregate exposure,
  • Pop-outs,
  • Joint percolation,
  • (Optional) Thermal anomalies 

AI training

The artificial intelligence models are based on neural networks trained on thousands of real tunnel images, enabling reliable and accurate recognition of structural defects.

Defects Severity Assessment

Along with recognition, the system also evaluates the severity of each defect.

Users can adjust prediction thresholds to expand or narrow the detected areas as needed, allowing precise control over sensitivity and analysis scope.

This enables automatic prioritization of the most critical issues and support maintenance planning and intervention scheduling.

All results can be exported for further analysis and data-driven insights.
